By using this site, you agree to follow all of the terms and conditions set by OXO Packaging. This includes the main terms on this page, as well as any extra guidelines posted for specific features or sections of the site. This document outlines what you are or are not allowed to do while navigating or using the website.
Once you load, browse, or interact with the site, you automatically enter into a legally enforceable contract with the site's owners. Specific pages on the site (like a checkout page, account creation, or a forum) might have their own extra rules that you also have to follow.
This means all those extra rules on specific pages are treated exactly as if they were written directly into this main document. They hold the same legal weight.
OXO Packaging can change its website features, services, or legal terms at any time. It is not obligated to send you an email or post a direct warning before implementing these changes. You are required to read through these terms and conditions each time you visit the site to ensure you still agree to how they operate.
Copyright (c) 2017 oxopackaging.co.uk™. OXO Packaging claims full legal ownership over its content. You cannot use, alter, or share the site’s work without getting explicit permission first. This is the core rule. You are not allowed to download, duplicate, or post their website text, images, designs, or code on your own website or in print.
You alone are responsible for the images, text, and materials you upload or ask them to print. You cannot use third-party artwork, logos, trademarks, or copyrighted designs unless you have the official permission or license from the rightful owner.
You are 100% responsible for the text, logos, and images you upload or ask them to print. Whatever you tell oxopackaging.co.uk™ to print on your packaging, it is entirely your legal responsibility to ensure it does not infringe on anyone else's legal rights.
You cannot use copyrighted, trademarked, or proprietary material owned by someone else unless you have explicit, written permission from them. By placing the order, you promise that your packaging will not violate intellectual property rights (e.g., copyright/trademarks), invade privacy, or defame any person or brand.
By checking out, you formally give oxopackaging.co.uk™ the legal right to manufacture the products using the exact designs and materials you provided.
Warning: If you use someone else's logo or artwork without permission and they sue, you take full financial and legal blame, not the printing company.
You must follow local online conduct laws and ensure your content is lawful, decent, and respects intellectual property rights. You cannot use the website to print anything that infringes on someone else's copyright (e.g., logos, trademarked text, or stolen artwork) or violates the law.
The company does not monitor your files and cannot be held responsible for the quality, accuracy, or offensiveness of the content. If you share or print offensive or incorrect content, the company cannot be sued or held accountable for it. You assume all risks.
You are 100% accountable for keeping your password secure. Any order or action made through your account, whether by you or someone else to whom you gave your password, is entirely your responsibility.
When you or someone using your account orders a printed item, you automatically give oxopackaging.co.uk™ broad legal permission to handle your designs. This permission is “worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive,” meaning they do not owe you royalties to process your order, they can fulfil orders anywhere, and you can still use your own designs elsewhere.
This license legally allows OXO Packaging to store your design files, modify them for printing, reproduce them on physical products, and display them for the sole purpose of processing your print orders.
OXO Packaging reserves the right to remove user content at its discretion for violating terms or being objectionable, while also reserving the authority to preserve and disclose data to comply with legal processes or protect company and public safety. This clause enables the platform to act on content moderation and legal obligations.
OXO Packaging creates the artwork for your custom packages while giving you a low-quality, screen-only preview file. If you need high-resolution files to keep for your own records or to use elsewhere, you must pay an extra fee.
A 72 DPI image is standard for web viewing, but it will look blurry, pixelated, or blotchy if you try to print it. It is only meant for you to look at on your computer screen to approve the layout. When you use the company's free design services, they retain ownership of the high-quality source files (usually vector or 300+ DPI files). You are paying for the physical printed boxes, not the master design files.
For printing packaging boxes, you usually need a resolution of 300 DPI or higher to ensure the text and logos are crisp and readable. To get these premium, print-ready source files (such as Adobe Illustrator .ai or .pdf vectors), you will have to email the support team to buy them.
All artwork must be in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key/Black). If you submit files in RGB (the colour mode used for digital screens), the printing press must convert them to CMYK. Because screens can display brighter, more vibrant colours than physical ink, this automated conversion can cause your colours to look duller or slightly shifted. The company will not take responsibility or offer refunds for these expected colour shifts.
All images must have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch). Lower resolutions (like 72 DPI), which is common for internet images) do not have enough data to fill the physical print space without stretching. If you provide low-resolution images, the printer is not responsible if they print out fuzzy, distorted, or pixelated images.
After placing an order, OXO Packaging will email you a digital proof (your artwork) and a job specification sheet (which includes production speeds and delivery dates). Because unexpected digital formatting changes can happen, the company strongly recommends printing your proof at 100% scale. You must carefully check for:
Once you approve the digital proof and specification sheet, your order goes straight to the production line and prints exactly as approved. Any errors you did not catch and report will be entirely your financial responsibility.
The company is only responsible for the exact terms, quantities, and delivery times listed on the final, signed specification sheet. Any verbal or unrecorded requests cannot be guaranteed or enforced.
OXO Packaging advises that approved screen proofs are intended for checking layout and accuracy, not for predicting final print colour, ink density, or appearance. Furthermore, the company is not responsible for colour changes resulting from lamination or for duo-tone colours, unless a physical colour match proof is ordered.
The standard paper or cardstock used for your boxes is not safe for direct contact with food. If you are packaging food, you must inform us immediately so the company can provide specialised food-grade materials before processing your order.
OXO Packaging guarantees colour reproduction within 90% of an approved, paid hardcopy proof, but cannot guarantee exact colour matching due to limitations in printing processes and surface variations. To guarantee exact colour reproduction for your files, you must order a hardcopy proof for an additional charge.
The company does not guarantee colour accuracy for digital proofs and is not responsible for variations from the submitted artwork. The company is not responsible for colour variations between your original submitted files and the final printed product.
You agree to hire lawyers and cover all financial losses if oxopackaging.co.uk™ or their employees are sued because of your actions. You are financially responsible if you break the rules you agreed to when using custom design services or the website.
If you upload your own logo, artwork, or text onto your packaging boxes and it violates someone else's copyright or trademark, you take 100% of the legal blame. This protects the company from your custom uploads. If you use their default, pre-existing templates, you aren't held liable.
oxopackaging.co.uk™ allows you to cancel your order, but fees may apply depending on the current stage of production.
Once your payment goes through and your order is confirmed, you cannot cancel the project or get your money back, regardless of whether the final design meets your expectations or if you change your mind.
Since the products are customised (e.g., custom sizes, printed logos, or bespoke designs), the company cannot resell them to anyone else. You cannot change your mind, return the product, or get your money back once the order is placed.
But if there is a defect or a mistake that is objectively the printer's fault, such as printing the wrong dimensions than what was approved, or printing the wrong colour format, OXO Packaging will investigate and verify it.
The company's only remedy for its own mistakes is to reprint and send the correct products. You will not get a refund, but you will eventually get the correct items.
You must inspect and report any print issues within 3 business days of receiving your package. If you miss this window, oxopackaging.co.uk™ will not accept responsibility, and you will not be eligible for replacements or refunds for those items.
You need to immediately check your delivery for manufacturing defects, physical damage, missing items, or incorrect quantities. You cannot simply mail the products back. You must contact them and receive official written authorisation before shipping anything.
You must return practically the entire order. If you have already used, thrown away, or given away more than 1% of the items, you will not qualify for a replacement. The products must be delivered back to them within 10 days starting from the day your original order was delivered. And you are responsible for the financial cost of shipping the items back to the company.
All shipping options include Free Ground Shipping within the United Kingdom. Delivery times are not guaranteed and are best for flexible deadlines.
Standard service includes 10 to 12 business days after final proof approval. Priority service is guaranteed to ship within 8 business days, while express service guarantees shipping within 6 business days after you approve the final design.
Regardless of which service you choose, timing relies on your final proof approval. If you approve your design before 11:00 AM GMT, your production countdown starts that same day. But if you approve your design after 11:00 AM GMT, your order is pushed to the next day, and 1 business day will be added to your production timeline.
The company promises to make a good-faith effort to process, print, and dispatch your custom packaging within its standard turnaround time (typically 10 to 12 business days). This is a "limitation of liability." It legally blocks you from suing OXO Packaging or demanding financial compensation.
If the printing press breaks, or if third-party carriers (like DHL or FedEx) cause your delivery to arrive late, OXO Packaging will not pay for the consequences. For example, if you miss a product launch date or lose retail sales because the boxes didn't arrive, the company is not financially responsible for those lost profits.
OXO Packaging is not responsible for delays caused by extreme weather, technical glitches, shipping company errors, or international customs holdups. You agree not to hold the company liable if a delayed package causes you to miss a deadline or lose business.
Estimated shipment and delivery dates are just that, estimates. They are calculated using historical order data and supplier timelines. Because dates are approximate estimates, it is highly recommended to order well in advance of when you actually need the boxes, leaving a buffer for unforeseen disruptions.
oxopackaging.co.uk™ aims to meet delivery schedules but is not liable for delays caused by unexpected equipment failure or technical issues. While rush fees may be refunded or waived, orders cannot be cancelled due to these production or shipping delays.
You are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees required to bring the goods into your country. You must make all necessary arrangements with local customs officials to get your package released. The amount you pay to OXO Packaging only covers the product and basic shipping. It does not cover the taxes your government imposes at the border.
OXO Packaging takes on the logistical burden of getting the final product to the client with free or included shipping, ensuring a seamless, no-hassle delivery experience.
You must check packages before accepting, while looking for visible damage. Ensure you count all delivered items and compare them to the invoice. Also, check your packaging slip and report issues immediately if any exist. Notify OXO Packaging right away, and contact the delivery courier.
You need to file claims within 3 days. Deadline counts business days. However, late claims get rejected. If the deadline passes, the company is not liable. Also, OXO Packaging takes exemptions for courier errors, courier damage, or courier omissions.
Printing trade customs legally allow printers to deliver an order that has up to 5% more or 5% fewer items than you originally requested. Printers usually print extra pieces and include them for free to cover any manufacturing mistakes. Because of this, you will often receive more than you paid for.
In rare cases, printers throw away more defective items than expected, meaning you might get slightly fewer pieces than your exact order size. If your project requires an exact, guaranteed minimum number of items (e.g., for an event or a direct-mail campaign), the company recommends ordering 10% more than you actually need. This acts as a buffer to ensure you aren't left short.
If your package is returned to the sender because you entered the wrong address, it will cost extra money to send it out again. You are financially responsible for these extra shipping and handling fees. The charge is only applied if the mistake came from your end, such as typos, wrong house number, or forgotten ZIP code.
If the website malfunctions, damages your computer, or fails to meet your expectations, the creators take zero responsibility and are not obligated to fix it or compensate you. The company does not guarantee the site is commercially viable or of high quality. Or that the site will accomplish your specific, personal goals, while the site's content won't unintentionally violate someone else's copyrights or patents.
If you click an external link to another company's website, the site owners are not responsible for that company's products, services, or privacy practices.
This limitation of liability clause states that oxopackaging.co.uk™ and its affiliates are not legally or financially responsible for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from website use, service interruptions, or order failures. The provision specifically excludes liability for lost profits, data, or damages caused by unauthorised site use.
