Get Bespoke Packaging That Fits Your Product and Sells Your Brand
Bespoke packaging is packaging built around one product. Its size, structure, material, print, and finish are all chosen for that item, not picked off a stock shelf. The box holds snugly, travels safely, and looks like it belongs to your brand.
Off-the-shelf boxes make you compromise. Too big and you’re paying for void fill and air on every courier label. Too plain and your product blends into the background. Bespoke packaging fixes both.
We make bespoke packaging for your product brands in cosmetics, food, candles, apparel, eCommerce, subscriptions, and corporate gifting. You tell us what goes inside and how it reaches your customer. Our design team turns that into a box spec, shows you a 3D mockup, and then produces it from just 100 pieces. No faff, no guesswork, and a box that’s bang on the first time.
Choose Bespoke Packaging Materials Built for the Job
The right material depends on three things: how heavy your product is, how it travels, and how premium it needs to feel. Here’s how the main board types compare.

Watch out for
SBS / folding boxboard
Around 300–400gsm
Cosmetics, skincare, supplements, retail cartons

Not built for heavy items or courier knocks on its own
Kraft board

Colours print slightly muted on brown stock
E-flute corrugated
Around 1.5mm thick
Mailer boxes, subscription boxes, small parcels
Thinner than B-flute, so it’s less suited to heavy loads
B-flute corrugated
Around 3mm thick
Shipping boxes, heavier or fragile goods
Bulkier, so it can push a parcel into a bigger postage band
Rigid board (greyboard)
Thick board wrapped in printed or textured paper
Luxury bespoke packaging, gift sets, jewellery, PR kits
Ships pre-formed, so it takes more storage and transit space

Not sure which to pick? Send us the product’s weight and dimensions, and say whether it goes on a shelf or into the post. We’ll recommend a board grade.
Thinking about EPR? Since the 2026/27 scheme year, the UK’s packaging EPR fees are adjusted by how recyclable your packaging is. Mono-material paper and board specs are the simplest to recycle. If your business reports under EPR, ask us for a spec that keeps plastic content to a minimum.
Customise Every Inch of Your Bespoke Packaging Design
With bespoke packaging design, every part of the box is your call: size, shape, opening style, artwork, inside print and inserts. Our team gives free design support at every stage, so you don’t need a packaging engineer in-house.
Here’s how a project runs:
- Share the brief. Send your product dimensions, weight, quantity and how the box will be used (shelf, post or gift).
- Get a spec. We suggest the material, style and finishes that suit your product and budget.
- Approve a 3D mockup. See your artwork on the box from every angle before anything is printed.
- Go to production. Once you sign off, your order is made and dispatched within 10–12 business days.
Pro tip: Measure your product’s length, width and depth in millimetres, and tell us whether those are the product’s measurements or the box’s internal size. Mixing them up is the most common reason a box arrives a touch too snug. When in doubt, send the product’s measurements and we’ll work out the clearance.

Size it for the postage band, not just the product. Royal Mail sets prices by format. A Large Letter can be up to 353 × 250 × 25mm and 750g. A Small Parcel can be up to 450 × 350 × 160mm and 2kg. A bespoke mailer that comes in just under one of those limits can cut postage on every order, which adds up fast at volume.
Printed Bespoke Packaging With Finishes That Turn Heads
Printed bespoke packaging is your brand’s billboard, in your customer’s hands. The print method decides colour accuracy and cost, and the finish decides how the box looks and feels.
Print methods
- Digital printing: no printing plates, so it’s cost-effective on short runs and a good fit near our 100-piece minimum.
- Offset (litho) printing: sharp detail and accurate CMYK or Pantone colour matching. It’s the go-to for cartons and rigid box wraps on larger runs.
- Flexographic printing: fast and economical on corrugated board, so it suits shipping and mailer boxes.
- Inside printing: add a message, pattern or QR code inside the lid for a proper “ooh” moment at unboxing.
Finishes
Finish
What it does
Matte lamination
A smooth, non-reflective look
Gloss lamination
Bright colours with a shine
Soft-touch lamination
A velvety, premium feel
Aqueous (water-based) coating
Light protection with no plastic film
Spot UV
A glossy coat on selected areas, such as a logo
Hot foil stamping
Metallic gold, silver, rose gold or holographic detail
Embossing / debossing
Raises or presses your logo into the board
Using film lamination? Bear in mind it adds plastic to a paper-based pack. For an easier recycling story, pair an aqueous coating with foil or embossing on just the logo.
Add-Ons That Give Your Bespoke Boxes the Wow Factor
Add-ons are where a good box becomes a memorable one. Pick the ones that serve your product, not just the ones that look nice.
- Custom inserts: card or corrugated inserts hold each item in place, so nothing rattles, scuffs or breaks in transit. Ideal for bottles, jars and multi-item gift sets.
- Die-cut windows: let customers see the product before they open the box. A clear film window adds a second material, so consider an open cut-out if recyclability is a priority.
- Ribbons and pull tabs: a neat finishing touch on rigid gift boxes, and they make lids easier to lift.
- Tear strips: an easy-open strip on mailers that also shows if a parcel has been tampered with.
- Handles: built-in carry handles for gable boxes, hampers and retail bags.
- Branded tissue paper and stickers: a low-cost way to make even a plain box feel bespoke.
- Magnetic or ribbon closures: a satisfying snap or tie for luxury and keepsake packaging.
